LABOR-MANAGEMENT CONFERENCE

MALMC sponsors an annual conference featuring nationally-recognized speakers discussing topics of interest to labor and management.  The conference also affords local union and business representatives the opportunity to meet together in an informal setting.

TRIBUTE TO INDUSTRY AND LABOR

MALMC hosts an annual dinner in honor of the working people of Muskegon County.  Top labor and business leaders are speakers at this event.  The "HAROLD WORKMAN" Labor-Management Corporation Award is also presented to recognize an outstanding effort by an individual, or a labor-management team, who has demonstrated a commitment to promoting excellent labor-management cooperation in Muskegon County.

WORKSHOPS / SEMINARS / FORUMS

MALMC sponsors periodic workshops and seminars in Muskegon on specific labor-management topics.  Quality speakers and discussion leaders help local management/union representatives focus attention on subjects of concern to both parties in a cooperative setting.

STUDENT AWARENESS PROGRAM

MALMC in cooperation with area school districts, offers a day-long "mock" bargaining exercise to selected students.  Local management/union representatives assist students participating in this unique learning opportunity.
