Who We Are

The mission of Michigan Labor-Management Association (MLMA) and its partners throughout the state is to promote labor-management cooperation. The MLMA is the only state-wide forum in Michigan that brings labor and management together to discover and act on issues of mutual interest. Through appropriate strategic cooperation out State can continue to grow increasingly more competitive in the global economy and provide high quality, family supporting jobs.

The MLMA is led by a Board of Directors which includes company and union leaders, representatives of area labor-management committees and organizations which support our mission (e.g. Federal Mediation and Conciliation Services, Michigan Employment Relations Commission, State Universities etc.).

Based at Lawrence Technological University, the MLMA is a nonprofit organization. Financial support is obtained through membership dues, FMCS grant, educational programs and an annual conference.
